In my next review from my trip to Israel, I take you through Megiddo. Now most know of the Valley of Megiddo, but there was also a settlement called Megiddo which is where the valley gets it's name. The Valley of Megiddo is also referred to as the Jezreel Valley.
We will look at the Canaanite ruins (15th Century BC) that predate the people of Israel, and ruins from the times of King Solomon, King Ahab, and King Jeroboam II, (10th Century BC through 8th Century BC).
The settlement and the valley had many moments that were recorded in the Old Testament that I will touch on.
And finally, is the Valley of Megiddo the location where the final battle between good and evil will take place?
