15 Promises from the Bible (Part 1)
By Shaun Shuler
“GOD’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection.”
2 Samuel 22:31 NLT
Where do you turn for hope and encouragement during times of trouble and chaos in your life?
Everyone goes through issues from time to time, but even some Christians will turn to anyone or everywhere first before turning to GOD for comfort or deliverance. GOD will send people in your life to give you a message from the LORD, but the devil will also send people into your life to disrupt, cause division, and possibly bring you to the brink of destruction.
I am not saying you shouldn’t trust your spouse, your parents, or your friends, but do not exclusively put all of your hope and trust in the advice they give you. All humans are flawed and prone to make mistakes.
Turn to the ONE who is perfect, the ONE who created you, the ONE who knows you.
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”
Psalms 139:13-16 NLT
There are 1,000’s of promises in the Scriptures, but today, I want to share just 15 of those unbreakable promises found in the Bible, to give you, or someone you know a little encouragement.
If you have been struggling with something for a while, take heart and meditate on what David, a man after GOD’s own heart said:
“Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!”
Psalms 27:14 NKJV
